mind blowing

Ready for this? Im selling my honda and i have a Volkswagen, lol. Ive had this corrado since February and I absolutely love it when people compliment on it. It drives like garbage but it looks good parked.

As far as honda stuff, Ive been doing a lot of Honda heads recently. two h22's which are very rare. Ill try and keep building my two F22 projects but i wont have anything to put them in.

12 dollar lip from an Acura legend

blockguard installed, ready to be bored to 87mm

V6 honda heads...hard seats = more pretty because they polish a little easier.

going to be a custom torque plate, 88mm is the goal. For H22, h23, F23, F22, F20, maybe even K20

Just got back from Hong kong and malaysia, that was fun. Watching formula one qualifying in the rain was interesting as well.

we are slammed this week. just got in a D16A1 and a B18A1. should be interesting to build.

finished this f22 head.

I just passed my ASE A6 and A8, auto electrical and engine performance cert. tests. These are requirments for the smog tests and in May im taking the advanced test which is L1 and is geared more for smog and emissions diagnostics.

At school, we just finished with honda ignition and diagnostics. it was pretty inetresting especially since it works a lot like every other ignition setup. GM hei, Ford tsi, toyota...blahblahblah. I have a performance final this week and i have to R&R two distributors on two old school domestics.

At work, we been doing a lot of honda stuff. ive had a lot of man hours on the seat and guide machine trying to perfect machine cut seats versus hand machined.

Another F22 for customer

vj's (how they are supposed to be done)

ive been doing work son. I have a new idea...87mm h22 pistons into a f22 without sleeving. i have somewhat done the mathematics and the final iron sleeve thickness will be around .090" it should be enough for a street driven car but thats the point. street driven, high comp, mild cam and on a budget. Im parting out my project car so ill have the perfect bottom end to do this on. my current 85mm f22 is in too good of a cond to risk fucking up. id rather have it as a good spare as it only needs rings.

wiring diagrams

wiring, electrical and more wiring diagrams. school's been kicking my ass with this electrical. Today i experienced diagnosis of window motors and power door locks. This stuff is easy, just a little tedious. I laugh though because it's amazing how many people havent set base timing on a honda in my class properly. I was the only one that actually knows how to set it. I also made the SCC connectors for diagnostic purposes from old junk cars.

anyways, i dynoed my car and it made 130hp and 160ft-lbs at the hubs. thats quite a bit more than stock so im happy especially with stock ignition, timing and 87 octane.

Ive been looking at maybe some aerdynamic stuff for my project car (accord coupe), idk...the majority of the stuff looks like it could be made.

I also have another project civic coupe. At the moment it only has a stock D15 that runs pretty good especially it passes smog real clean. I still have a build f22 that needs to be put together so i was wondering if I could swap a built f22 into the civic. That would be pretty beastly huh? probably run 14's with the f22 transmission. IDK though, side work has been keeping me in line. I had to blow off all in vehicle side jobs because i have an engine and 4 ccylinder heads that need machining.

Lately Ive been doing a lot of rods and pin bushing honing and we got 3 other hondas that are awaiting labor and parts. Overall, I am enjoying the line of work and i enjoy the results even better.

started this week a little late

boss was out of town friday and monday.

Today i picked up the largest set of cylinder heads ever. a set off a diesel Catepillar engine which caught fire. it is about twice the size of a typical SBC head.

put the rear end in the nova and began to mount the rear sway bar. the front sway and bilstein shocks are in. The custom centerline wheels are being made to order.

Schools been kicking my ass.

ordered my White matco service cart with black trim. thats going to take 5-6 weeks to make and ship since it is completely custom.

running around.

running around like a chicken with its head cut off. School started last week and i feel pressured. Dont get me wrong, i love the stuff that we are learning but my amount of free time has dimished.

I am working part time which feels like nothing. I picked up this turbo build for a honda D15b japaense engine. Now check this out. i was figuring out deck height os i know how much to machine the deck of the block and my first result turned out to be over the top by a .100 of an inch!

so i called up the owner and had him explain to me what a japanese D15b since i really only touch USDM blocks.

A d15b is:
1.5 crank
D16z6 rod journals
1.5 stroke
75mm bore

and were using custom rods and vitara pistons.

boy was that confusing.
